Alumni Council
Seton Hall Law's Alumni Council is comprised of graduates who continue to distinguish
themselves in a variety of practice areas of the law and serve as ambassadors of the
Law School. Council members make Seton Hall Law an even greater place to study, gain
professional skills and develop a lifelong network of friends and colleagues. Alumni
Council members build a network with students and alumni alike, serve as speakers
on Law School panels, mentor students, and grow engagement with their peers. The Alumni
Council welcomes fellow graduates with a demonstrated interest in supporting the school's
current students and enhancing our alumni community.
Business, Technology and Entrepreneurship Committee
The Business, Technology and Entrepreneurship Committee emphasis reflects the multidisciplinary
nature of conducting business in compliance with a variety of modern laws and regulations.
Our committee is comprised of alumni, volunteers, supporter and faculty who pursue
careers as advisers to entrepreneurs, for-profit businesses and nonprofit organizations,
whether in private practice or in an in-house legal department, or to serve in the
public sector in agencies that regulate the activities of business organizations.
These professionals also work in areas of high regulation, compliance and government.
The Committee serves as a hub for academic and practical discussions regarding business,
compliance, technology and the law. It will serve as a professional development and
networking group that will host speakers from: In House, Energy, Financial Regulatory
and Wealth Planning, Real Estate, Human Resources, Accounting, Sports and Entertainment,
and look beyond practice and the business to analyze problem on multiple plains.
Diverse Attorneys of Seton Hall (D.A.S.H)
The Diverse Attorneys of Seton Hall (D.A.S.H) shall serve in an advisory capacity
to the Law School community. The function of DASH shall be to assist the SHU Law community
in achieving the following goals: (1) to celebrate, promote, and incorporate the rich
diversity of society; (2) to create and maintain an environment that respects and
values the contributions of all of its members; (3) to heighten cultural sensitivity
and diversity awareness; (4) to graduate students with the cultural competency and
skills in civil discourse required of lawyers in the modern legal market; (5) to provide
academic support, advising, mentoring, curriculum and professional development programs,
particularly for students who historically have been under represented in the legal
profession; and (6) to increase opportunities to explore the intersection of social
justice and diversity.
Gold Committee
The Gold Committee is a sub-committee of the Seton Hall Law Alumni Council which aims
to keep Graduates of the Last Decade engaged with the Law School and each other through
networking and social events. Further, a goal of this Committee is to gain greater
participation in the life of the Law School by recent graduates.
Health Law Alumni Committee
The Health law Alumni Committee brings together graduates of the top ranked and celebrated
academic center of excellence focused on health law programs, research and policy.
This Committee will provide networking and engagement opportunities with uniquely
concentrated programs for JD, LLM, and MSJ alumni.
Red Mass Committee
The Red Mass Committee is comprised of alumni volunteers from various faiths and religious
backgrounds. The committee helps in the selection process of the honoree and mass
participants each year to ensure that the event is well attended, meaningful and successful.
Red Mass is a Mass celebrated annually in the Catholic Church for all members of the
legal profession, regardless of religious affiliation: judges, lawyers, law school
professors, law students, and government officials, marking the opening of the judicial
year.

Small Law Firm Commission
The Small Law Firm Commission was established in 2016 and supports Seton Hall Law
alumni practicing at firms of 25 attorneys or less and solo practitioners. The Small
Law Firm Commission sponsors events to provide opportunities for these alumni to connect
and network.
Women's Leadership Committee
The Women's Leadership Committee is comprised of a wide variety of alumni interested
in providing educational and networking opportunities for students, by providing lifelong
partnerships with women in the legal profession. The Committee serves student and
alumnae in several ways: developing a network, providing mentorship opportunities,
building professional skills, building a reputation, and making a difference in the
lives of future Seton Hall Law graduates. The committee provides female students with
a well-rounded picture of today's legal world, while nurturing their unique position
in the workforce.
Veterans Association
The Veterans Association advises the Law School on and aids in recruitment strategies
and increasing services for current students. In honor of the unique contributions
that veterans have made to Seton Hall Law over the years, the faculty and current
student-veterans are collaborating to identify and grow this special network. The
Student Veterans Association is proud to connect with Seton Hall Law alumni veteran
and active military.
