Priority Areas of Support
Scholarships
A 2022 study from the Health Resources and Services Administration found that New Jersey is among the top ten states projected to experience the largest nursing shortage by 2035 - a nearly 12% gap in the RN workforce.
With that reality in mind, we feel a true obligation to educate and prepare the next generation of nurses at Seton Hall.
Philanthropic support makes this possible by providing scholarships for more BSN students, and especially for our accelerated BSN students who are earning a second bachelor's degree and aren't eligible for the same loan programs as graduate students.
Additionally, investment in graduate scholarships helps us create opportunities for advanced study and research, empowering nurses to take on leadership, clinical, or academic roles that shape the healthcare landscape.
By reducing financial barriers, scholarships attract highly qualified students committed to addressing the nation's healthcare challenges.
