Endowed faculty positions are among the most powerful ways to attract and retain outstanding scholars and teachers, ensuring Seton Hall's continued excellence in teaching and research.

These professorships provide lasting support for key academic disciplines, offering stability and predictable resources regardless of shifts in enrollment or workforce trends. The College currently has two endowed faculty positions in chemistry and molecular biology, and philanthropic support can help us expand that number significantly.

We also see opportunities beyond the classroom. Endowed coaches and mentors can provide sustained leadership for high-impact co-curricular clubs such as our AI, cybersecurity, and robotics teams, giving students consistent expert guidance and the resources needed to compete and succeed year after year.

Financial obligations limit many students from pursuing research opportunities beyond their time in the classroom. Undergraduate Research Awards provide critical support, allowing students to focus on innovative projects instead of unrelated employment. Increased donor investment can expand these opportunities and help more students gain the hands-on experience and mentorship essential to their academic and professional growth.
