Advancement at Seton Hall has continued to experience impressive growth through new engagement opportunities for more than 100,000 alumni. These achievements include:

  • An increase in undergraduate alumni giving from 6.5% to over 10% participation over the last several years.
  • Reaching a True Blue membership, Seton Hall’s loyalty recognition program launched in 2014, of more than 975.
  • Receiving more than $23 million in gifts to various University projects from generous alumni and friends.
  • The launch of Pirate Connect, a professional development platform exclusively for the Seton Hall community allowing classmates to reconnect and provide opportunities for mentorship, networking and jobs.
  • Crowdfunding initiatives and the introduction of our first Seton Hall Giving Day in 2018 which resulted in 1,150 donors and over $160,000.
  • The continuous connection of alumni with students through our Phonathon program which helps to inform graduates on news of campus improvements and new programming.
  • The Student Alumni Association’s ongoing efforts to create connections for students with alumni through special programming and events.
  • The celebration of alumni achievements at the Many Are One alumni awards gala, now held in our newest building, Bethany Hall. The event brings more than 300 Seton Hall alumni and friends back to campus and benefits the Many Are One Alumni Endowed Scholarship.
  • The recognition of our incoming legacy students through legacy scholarships, early move in and a legacy family breakfast.
  • The Young Alumni Summer Reunion’s tradition of bringing together nearly 400 Graduates of the Last Decade to reconnect, celebrate Seton Hall and learn about giving opportunities.
  • Providing continuing professional development and life skills to all alumni at no cost through monthly webinars.
  • The oldest and longest running alumni club, the Shore Setonians, which has met for lunch every third Thursday of the month since 1951.
  • The growth of the Washington, D.C. Regional Alumni Chapter to become the largest group of alumni outside of the New Jersey/New York metro area.
  • An increase in regional chapters and clubs to 32 and 15, respectively.
