Welcome Pirate Parents

Sandro Tejada

The Seton Hall Parents Program serves as the primary point of contact for all undergraduate parents and families. We want you to stay connected, both to your student and to other Seton Hall families, remain informed about what's going on within the Pirate community, and engage with us. We are here to answer your questions, offer assistance whenever we can, and provide suggestions to support their success. We want to help all Seton Hall parents and families do three things: Learn. Engage. Connect.

First and foremost, we work to keep you up to date on what's going on around campus. By staying informed on important University developments and initiatives, you will gain a much sharper understanding for what your student is experiencing on a day-to-day basis. However, passively receiving information is not enough. We want to make sure you have opportunities to become actively involved in our progress and future. Through Seton Hall Weekend, Parent Orientation, the Seton Hall Family Fellows and Parent Leadership Council (PLC), our Parents Newsletter, speaker series, and more, you can provide engaged participation and feedback in order to strengthen our Pirate community.

Through these actions, we hope to achieve our primary purpose: connecting you to the Seton Hall Family. We need you to be partners in their continued success. While it is important to give them the freedom to make their own choices, the power of a strong family connection cannot be underestimated. We ask that you help partner with us to make your student's undergraduate experience as valuable, healthy, and fulfilling as possible.

Go Pirates,

Sandro
