Donor Societies

To create a community of supporters and to acknowledge donors for all they do for Seton Hall, the University has established several donor recognition programs and organizations.

Bayley Society

Bayley Society members help Seton Hall achieve new levels of eminence by providing annual support at the leadership level. The Bayley Society creates an immediate and lasting impact on today’s Pirates through yearly gifts of at least $1,000 from alumni and friends or at least $500 from undergraduate alumni within 10 years of graduation.

Hazard Zet Forward Society

The Hazard Zet Forward Society honors and celebrates Seton Hall’s most reliable alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends. Their consistent giving helps strengthen programs and provide exceptional opportunities to students. Society members understand that the University can best fulfill its mission when Setonians make annual investments, regardless of their size. Donors qualify for membership after five consecutive years of giving in any amount.

Benjamin Savage Society

The Benjamin Savage Society honors the memory of Benjamin Savage, who tended the grounds and farmland that once comprised much of Seton Hall’s campus. Through his modest living and kindly nature, Benjamin Savage made Seton Hall’s first planned gift. Today the Society recognizes the foresight and generosity of individuals who have made plans to sustain the University with a gift from their estate

1856 Student Society

The 1856 Society recognizes the generosity of Pirates who support the University while they are still students. The Society offers these young donors an opportunity to directly enhance the Seton Hall experience for themselves, fellow students and future generations of Setonian.
