Your Gift to the Sister Rose Thering Fund Helps in many ways.

• Promotes teacher education to implement the mandate of the State of New Jersey to teach Holocaust and Genocide Studies in grades K-12
• Advances mutual understanding among peoples of diverse religions and cultures, and
• Through education, reduces prejudice and misunderstanding

Donations to the Sister Rose Thering Fund can be designated for:

• Granting scholarships to elementary and secondary school teachers
• Sponsoring workshops on the causes of prejudice, anti-Semitism and the Holocaust and seeking solutions for combating prejudice in each community
• Creating resource materials for use by teachers
• Furthering the daily operations of the Fund
• Other purposes such as tributes in honor or memory of someone, or establishing an endowment for a specific purpose
