G. K. Chesterton Institute for Faith & Culture
Dear Chestertonian Friend,
It is with deep pride and a renewed sense of gratitude that we are celebrating the forty-seventh anniversary of both the G. K. Chesterton Institute for Faith & Culture and our journal The Chesterton Review. Nothing achieved would have happened without you. Truly ours is a shared project. Together we have made good on a promise made to each other to continue, in our time, the important work begun by Chesterton in his.
The Institute, based at Seton Hall University, goes from strength to strength not only in the number of programmes but also in their quality and versatility as it becomes more international than ever.
Through our work, we discover a deep hunger around the world for Chesterton, for his splendid common sense, his brilliant wit, his deep religious insight, the sheer lovability. This is a truly Chestertonian “moment around the world,” and his voice commands our attention.
We are deeply thankful to you for your continued generosity this year and over the years, and hope that you will continue to support the work of our Institute and its journal The Chesterton Review by making a tax-deductible donation. Your support has allowed us to do this important work for forty years. Chesterton once said that goodwill should be embodied in something material. For him, the incarnation, in his view, is the best example of this truth. Christ himself is our Christmas present.
Would you consider embodying your own good wishes for our Chesterton project in the form of a material gift? That practical help would be greatly appreciated.
With every good wish and an assurance of prayers.
