Investing in Our Future | Investing in Our Students
Thanks to a generous gift from alumnus and renowned sports journalist Bob Ley '76, Seton Hall University has established a world-class Center for Sports Media focused on educating the next generation of sports-media professionals with skills in everything from investigating, writing, and reporting to broadcasting, podcasting and livestreaming. With a mission to innovate the industry, the Center for Sports Media is redefining how students are trained in media, communications, and sports business.
Students collaborate with the sports community and produce groundbreaking content published through university channels and partnerships with major media outlets. They build outstanding portfolios, gain robust hands-on experience through internships, and work alongside experts in the field to give them a leg up as they forge careers exploring, engaging, and mastering key aspects of the multi-billion-dollar sports industry.
