The Stillman School of Business Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at Seton Hall cordially invites you and a guest to join the Stillman community and entrepreneurs from across the country in celebrating the accomplishments of this year's Entrepreneur Hall of Fame inductees Abe Kasbo '94/M.P.A. '99 and Ralph, M.S. '98 and Marylee Evangelista.

The 2018 Emerging Entrepreneur Awards will be presented to Luciana Contuzzi '13, founder of zest, and Victor Ricci '17, founder of Trend Pie.

    • Abe Kasbo is founder and CEO of Verasoni Worldwide, an integrated marketing and public relations advisory firm in Fairfield, NJ. The firm delivers integrated marketing, branding, digital strategies, advertising, and reputation management across platforms and markets. Verasoni Worldwide has a range of clients from Fortune 500 to mid-market and start-ups. Kasbo is also chair of Verasoni Ventures, which incubates and advises startups, including his latest startup, A gifted and multifaceted entrepreneur, Kasbo is the executive-producer and director of the award-winning documentary “The Arab-Americans,” distributed nationally by PBS; the first feature-length, broadcast quality documentary chronicling the rich yet silent history and contributions of Arab Americans to the American fabric.

      He founded, a philanthropic effort that brought more than 250,000 toothbrushes to support the oral health of Syrian refugees to Germany, Canada and the United States. The project gained national and international attention, generated about 160,000 toothbrush donations in the first five days of its launch, and reached 250,000 toothbrushes within two months.

      In 2015, Kasbo was recognized as Economic Bridge Builder of Year by the American-Arab Chamber of Commerce and the Governor and Legislative Branch of the State of Michigan. Wayne County, Michigan also bestowed the same honor.

      Kasbo is a sought-after public speaker and is quoted widely in the press. He emigrated from Syria at the age of 10 and settled in Paterson, NJ. He earned a B.A. in political science and a master’s degree in public administration from Seton Hall University. Kasbo and his wife, Anna, reside in Summit, NJ with their two children.

    • In a successful partnership, Ralph and Marylee Evangelista are married owners of the certified public accounting and consulting firm, Frazer, Evangelista & Company, LLC. The firm provides a full range of accounting, auditing, tax and forensic advisory services for a diverse clientele, including closely held businesses and high net worth individuals. Ralph has directed numerous engagements involving forensic accounting, fraud investigation, financial and operational analysis and commercial damage assessment.

      Ralph, who also teaches forensic accounting at the Stillman School, runs the firm’s East Brunswick office. Marylee oversees its New Brunswick base. Ralph became an entrepreneur in 1991, founding Evangelista & Associates. Marylee joined the Warren L. Frazer CPA firm after graduating from The College of New Jersey. She was offered partnership just seven years later and the firm eventually became known as Frazer, Evangelista & Company. The two firms merged in 2009.

      The couple has always been active in professional and community organizations. For example, Marylee served as the first woman president of the New Brunswick Kiwanis Club and Ralph is currently on the Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau of New Jersey and serves on the NJCPA Professional Conduct Committee. Additionally, they each are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.

      The Evangelista’s have two daughters, Nicole and Jacqueline, and reside in East Brunswick, NJ.
