Phi Kappa Theta Alumni Events

The Phi Kappa Theta Alumni Club gathers together regularly throughout the year to celebrate Seton Hall at events such as basketball game receptions and seasonal luncheons. The events are open to all Phi Kappa Theta alumni.

Phi Kappa Theta AlumniSome 30 Phi Kappa Theta brothers gathered on Saturday, January 20, to watch Seton Hall University's men's basketball team play one of its most memorable games in history. Although the Pirates fell in triple overtime to 18th-ranked Creighton, Phi Kaps from the tri-state area and a wide range of pledge years were able to enjoy catching up with one another post-game at the American Whiskey Bar across the street from the Prudential Center in Newark. Brothers as far back as the 1963 pledge class up to current brothers were in attendance.

Another Phi Kappa Theta meet-up is scheduled for Sunday, March 3, when the Seton Hall Pirates take on the No. 1-ranked UConn Huskies at 12 p.m. The meeting site is the new Baseline Social sports bar at Fort Monmouth in Eatontown. All are invited as there is plenty of seating for families. A pair of golf outings are also in the works for the spring and fall.

Brothers should be aware that Phi Kappa Theta's chapter at Seton Hall is the only fraternity active and uninterrupted at the university since its inception in 1958. Currently, the chapter has 35 active. Alumni have taken an increased role in interactions with active brothers. In the past three years, alumni brothers have launched a fund-raising campaign that now sits at $125,000. This initiative is now able to reward scholarships to active brothers. This year, two $2,500 grants were bestowed on deserving brothers who delivered essays regarding the importance of brotherhood.

Brothers are encouraged to continue to support the fundraising campaign. They can do so by clicking this link.
