Bonnie St. John, Olympic Medalist and Bestselling AuthorNBC News called her “one of the five most inspiring women in America;” at the 1984 Paralympics Winter Games in Innsbruck, Austria, she became the first African-American to win a medal in skiing despite having only one leg; she has appeared on millions of Starbucks Coffee Cups; and was honored with her portrait in the Main Hall of Trinity College at Oxford as a distinguished alumna.
